Jean-François Bussières
Jean-François Bussières is a professional electrical engineer and has more than 35 years of experience in technical areas as the gas sector, the Régie du bâtiment du Québec and the certification body CSA International.
Jean-François joined Technorm in 2009 as an electrical engineer. He specializes in the fields of electricity and gas. He participates in investigations on the origins and causes of fires or explosions. He has authored numerous reports on accidents (electrical shock, electrocution, lightning, equipment failure).
He also prepares reports on codes and regulations that address natural gas and electrical facilities in the province of Quebec.
Throughout his career, Jean-François conducted over 500 forensic investigations. He has testified as an expert witness in several cases tried by the Quebec courts of law.
